A newly equipped parent-child study room is located in the group study room BZ.07.12 on the entrance level of the library.

Anyone who wants to copy literature, research in the semester files or prepare something with fellow students can now do this in the library with their children. In addition to a large age- and diversity-appropriate selection of toys and children's books, the room is equipped with two tables for study groups. The cosy cushions, the play carpet, the colourful wall posters and the wooden rocking horse in the room invite you to browse.

The cupboard next to the room also contains a large selection of personally donated books by Wuppertal university professor Wolf Erlbruch.

The new parent-child learning room can now be used from Monday to Saturday during the library's opening hours. Baby changing facilities will soon be available on the same level in the anteroom of the toilets.

We ask all parents who use the parent-child learning room to handle the furniture and toys with care and to clean up after themselves. Thank you very much.

Please note: Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children. We would like to point out that the University of Wuppertal has no insurance cover for accidents, damage to property or third-party liability claims.
